From a variety of commercial and operational inputs, determines and takes ownership of finished goods’ demand forecast to optimize inventory stocking levels at regional distribution center to support facing territory demand . Supports development of production scheduling in the manufacturing facilities.
Utilities inventory control systems to audit and modify stock levels as required encompassing finished goods, component and spare parts minimum, safety, target and maximum stock levels.
Maintains the Approved Stocking List including delisting of parts as well, introduction of new parts, and recalls of excess stock to be modified into products with higher sales.
Designs and trains DC personnel and customers on inventory reviews, policies, and procedures for finished goods inventory management and control.
Establishes and monitors inventory performance measures by utilizing an inventory control system.
Responsible for interpreting and implementing inventory policies, procedures, strategies, and/or performance reviews of inventory stocking processes.
Utilize a global outlook to maximize the Supply Chain strategies, processes and systems.
Requirement:
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in related position.
Literacy in industry standard systems and technology (e.g. SAP, RF, etc.).
Microsoft Office applications at the expert level.
Graduate degree in business or technical discipline.
