                                  Position: Electronics Design Engineer

                                   
                                   

                                  Responsibilities:

                                  • To design & develop hardware architecture for industrial control & automation products
                                  • To manage product technical evolution of existing products
                                  • To provide technical support for continuous engineering department
                                  • To create / extend product offer in order to keep the Schneider Electrics’s competitiveness in the market
                                  • To create “World Class” product in order to position Schneider Electrics in leadership position in the market

                                  Requirements: 

                                  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
                                  • At least 2 years experience in electronics hardware design & development
                                  • Having design background in mixed signal circuit design & micro-controller based circuit architecture. Preferably design experience related to industrial automation product design or power supply product design.
                                  • Basic understandings of PCB design tools like Protel & Cadence, PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes as well as EMC troubleshooting skills is necessary for this position
                                  • Open-minded and willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and creative mind to bring novel solutions into design/product evolution and problem-solving
                                  • In depth understanding in process control mechanism like PID controller & fuzzy logic in term of software & hardware implementation
                                  • Must be able to read/write & communicate in English
                                  • Familiar with analog design simulation tools preferably PSPICE
                                  • Familiar with fundamental EMC phenomena and counter measures skills

                                   Experience in one or more of the following fields are an added advantage to this position:

                                  • High ability to lead coordination with multiple working partners from different functions to achieve result
                                  • Familiar with MCU based design with LCD interface, Modbus interface, Ethernet interface as well as analogues / digital input output
