Work in partnership with the business to provide coaching, support and influence that enable key clients to effectively deliver their people plans. Provides sound advise that delivers best practice and focused HR solutions that support the business area in conjunction with the HR Solutions functions.
You are required to support the business’ needs by developing, implementing and reviewing HR plans and solutions. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Participate in workforce planning sessions, ascertain manpower needs, and allocate the necessary budget depending on business needs.
- Coach line managers and employees to carry out timely and effective performance management programs eg periodic appraisals, competency and career reviews, counseling, etc.
- In conjunction with the L&D Solutions, plan, prepare and coordinate the implementation of training programs in line with performance management, career development, leadership development, etc.
- Partner the leadership team to review, address and implement compensation and benefits policies, administration, and concerns.
- Disseminate changes in policies practices, organization structure, etc through internal mass communication, classroom briefings, train-the-trainer sessions.
- Conduct internal communications/ survey sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Provide counselling and administration support for expatriate matters.
- Prepare HR information for and participate in quarterly and adhoc business reviews.
- Attend internal HR council/ project meetings to discuss, align with, and deploy HR policies/ practices.
- Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to Asia Pacific office.
- Carry out new employee onboarding and integration programs.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Attend to employees’ enquiries about HR matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Studies or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experiences in a similar capacity, preferably from an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Possesses sound knowledge of and experiences in local HR practices and employment legislations.
- Proven ability to take the lead and drive business outcomes and HR programs.
- Demonstrated change management skills to plan and manage HR programs.
- Highly independent, matured and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft will be advantageous.
- Customer and service oriented.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Able to commence employment in short notice
