Procurement Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Effective Supplier Management through controlled ordering, invoice handling, timely payment releases & actively resolving parts quality issue in close coordination and collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Manage vendors on RFQ respons
• Ensure Market Benchmarking best practice of 3 quotes per RFQ responses
• Effective cross functional teams engagement through working closely with Solution/Sales/Projects/Finance/Supply Chain Managers.
• Responsible for APJ monthly reporting of operational excellence and supplier on time delivery data
• Responsible to build APJ 3rd Party operational excellence
• Track and monitor vendors’ on time delivery profiling
• Track and monitor vendors’ quality performance, which include Supplier Corrective Action Reports
• Track and monitor country operational excellence
• Play a key role in APJ, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, taking a respectful approach to prioritization and solving of issues, and sharing of ideas to enhance 3rd Party Products and Services operational excellence and quality performance.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience of handling similar position or profile
• Strong Oracle database experiences
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and under pressure
• Strong on negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective presentation skills
• High degree of initiative and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
• Excellence business ethics and integrity in procurement policies compliance and enforcing
  Six Sigma Green Belt certified would be advantage
• Knowledge and familiarity of ERP / SAP systems is a plus
• Travel will be required as needed basis
