Solution Capability Transformation Expert

 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the Solutions capability of entities (Solution Centers, Commercial teams, and associated support teams)
  • Assess entity’s solution selling & execution capabilities using Gap Analysis meetings, and the standardized SOLCAP (Solution Capability) tool
  • Identify the necessary recommendations for improvement
  • Support solution centers with defining & completing necessary corrective action plans
  • Coach the solution centers with the necessary information and expertise on tools, processes and skills to improve management of the Solution business
  • Support the deployment of Customer Project Process within the selected Solution Centers according to the deployment roadmap defined by the Process Owner
  • Ensure awareness of the CPP process, support the countries in making the gap analysis and defining the necessary corrective action plans
  • Make sure that a process advocate, implementation leader, and other supporting roles are in place in each country to support the transformation
  • Check progress and provide coaching on the process implementation
  • Support implementation of key tools (bPS, bFO, risk registers, project charter, etc.).
  • Ensure Solution Centers have skills development plans for key roles (PM Tender, PM Execution, Contract/Tender Manager), including certification path enrollment
  • Animate formal Community of Practice model for specific disciplines across Solutions for practice sharing, skills development, and peer coaching.  Leverage IT infrastructure and network of experts within the solution centers to maintain an active community
  • Solution Center capability assessment reports
  • Customer Project Process implementation action plans by country
  • Tool development & implementation status
  • Provide input on model evolution (solution centers, tools, processes, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Engineer degree
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Equipment and/or Project Business (tendering, project management, engineering). 
  • Package, Projects and Solutions consultative Business Model understanding (mastering) and exposure for more than 5 years
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Process development/improvement successful experience
  • Results-oriented, hands-on, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-organizational, cross-functional, multi-cultural dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to international travel
