The Technician is responsible for customer site service and in-warranty unit repair activities involving installation, modification and repair of equipment and systems for company’s electrical products. The technician is also required to manage third party Service Vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent Company in dealing with customer concerns and providing customer support
- Perform site evaluations, scheduled and unscheduled site visits
- Support customers in the installation, modification, repair & maintenance (such as replacing batteries, fans, etc) of Company products
- Solve Power and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) problems at customer site
- Create country failure reports based on site interventions
- Identify and report failure modes encountered when in the field and determine the cause of these failures
- Train third party service vendors on new products and act as a primary instructor for all company products
- Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance of Company products
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, or practices and procedures at all times
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Technical Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Preferably with 2 years or more of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates may apply as training will be provided
- Able to operate under pressure
- Available for frequent irregular hours work
