              Customer profile:

              Total is the leading French investor and the third overseas oil operator in Indonesia. Present since 1968, it holds 50% of the production-sharing contract for the Mahakam license signed with the national Indonesian company Pertamina, which groups several sites including Senipah.

               

              Customer objective and constraints:

              Renovate the electrical equipment at the Senipah site, located on the East coast of Kalimantan, in order to increase its operational service life by 10 years.

              Implementation methodology (main phases):

              Renovation was carried out without any modification to civil engineering or to switchboard MV/LV cable connections while also limiting downtime to the strict minimum.

              As part of this project, Total Indonesia has entrusted Schneider Electric with the renovation of MV and LV equipment.

              Customer benefits:

              The substitution solutions limit investments and reduce maintenance costs. They are more economic than a new installation.

              Other information

              Following the creation of a new substation for the industrial gas treatment and compression site of Peciko in 1999, Schneider Electric has once again been contacted for renovation of the Senipah site.

              • retrofit of 22 CD1 contactors by Rollarc R400D in P500D_



              Replacement of 21 LV circuit-breakers in T12 switchboard:
              • retrofit of 18 Selpact circuit-breakers by Masterpact NT,
              • retrofit of 3 Selpact circuit-breakers by Masterpact NW.

              eplacement of 208 LV drawers in T12 switchboard:
              • 76 with contactors (65 drawers one module - 11 drawers two modules),
              • 132 with circuit-breakers (30 drawers two modules - 102 drawers one module).



              Replacement of CEE relays by Sepam relays.
