Are ION and PowerLogic meters vulnerable to Shellshock virus?

Are ION and PowerLogic meters vulnerable to Shellshock virus from the perspective of meter's cyber security?

Product Line
ION6200/7300/7650/7550/7500/7600/8650/8600/8800 series, CM2000/3000/4000 series, and PM600/700/800 series.

Environment
Meters capable of communicating over ethernet as well as serial.

Cause
Internet-facing software services, be it running on a PC or hardware, that uses Unix Bash Shell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bash_(Unix_shell)) to process certain requests, are particularly susceptible to Shellshock software bug, also known as Bashdoor.

Resolution
ION and PowerLogic meter lines do not use embedded Linux or Bash Shell. Therefore, they are not vulnerable to Shellshock virus.
